Behavioral Aid Solutions Sponsors and Participates in AILA Conference in Miami

Miami-Dade, February 20th, 2026

Behavioral Aid Solutions proudly participated as a sponsor and partner at this year’s conference hosted by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), held at the Hilton Miami Downtown in Miami. The two-day event brought together immigration attorneys, advocates, and legal professionals from across the country to collaborate and strengthen resources that support immigrant communities.

During the conference, Behavioral Aid Solutions had the opportunity to reconnect with Mildred Morgado, Chief Attorney and CEO of Morgado Law, who was also a featured speaker at the event. This meeting reinforced a long-standing partnership, highlighting the coordination between legal and mental health services that has supported countless immigration cases over the years.

AILA is a national association of immigration attorneys dedicated to promoting justice and advancing the practice of immigration law. Its annual conference provides a critical space for legal professionals to share updates, strategies, and best practices that directly impact immigration cases nationwide.

As an official sponsor, Behavioral Aid Solutions showcased its specialized mental health services designed to support immigration cases, including trauma-informed psychological evaluations for asylum, hardship waivers, VAWA petitions, and other legal proceedings. By attending the conference, the team strengthened collaborations and ensured attorneys had access to expert resources for their clients.

For Mariaelena Palomino, Clinical Director and CEO of Behavioral Aid Solutions, the conference was especially meaningful. “Being present at AILA allows us to connect directly with the attorneys who advocate tirelessly for immigrant families. Our role is to support those cases with thorough, ethical, and compassionate mental health evaluations that truly reflect our clients’ lived experiences,” she shared.

Aracelys Mosquera, Director of Outreach Services, added, “It was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen relationships and build new partnerships. When legal and mental health professionals work together, we create stronger outcomes for the communities we serve.”

Behavioral Aid Solutions remains committed to standing alongside immigration advocates, ensuring that every client’s story is supported with professionalism, care, and clinical expertise. Participation in events like AILA reflects the organization’s ongoing mission: to combine mental health and legal expertise to achieve meaningful, positive outcomes for immigrant communities.
