OVERVIEW:
Behavioral Aid Solutions (BAS) is Mental Health Centers with two facilities — in Doral and Sunset-Kendall — serving Miami-Dade County and, via Telehealth, families across Florida. Our team of 70+ licensed professionals provides counseling and psychotherapy, family and couples therapy, infant/toddler and child/adolescent mental health services, psychological testing, psychosocial rehabilitation, and targeted case management.
We are currently seeking Licensed Psychotherapists (LMHC, LMFT, and/or LCSW) to provide clinical services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, in-office and via Telehealth as appropriate. This is an opportunity to build a caseload on your own terms while receiving administrative and clinical support from an established, 25+ year practice.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct individual, family, couples, and/or group psychotherapy sessions in-office and via Telehealth.
- Develop, implement, and periodically update individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries) within the electronic health record in compliance with payer and HIPAA standards.
- Coordinate care with intake specialists, case managers, psychiatric providers, schools, and outside agencies as needed.
- Maintain an active caseload of at least 15 clients and monitor clinical progress toward treatment goals.
- Participate in monthly case consultation and available clinical trainings.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable Florida licensure, Medicaid/insurance, and AHCA requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a closely related clinical field.
Licenses / Certifications
Active, unencumbered license to practice in the State of Florida as an LMHC, LMFT, and/or LCSW.
Experience
- Prior experience providing individual, family, and/or couples psychotherapy preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
Additional Requirements
- Required to complete an AHCA Level II Background Screening, as mandated under Chapter 435, Florida Statutes.
- Familiarity with electronic health records preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Telehealth service delivery preferred but not required.
- Reliable, self-directed, and interested in participating in clinical trainings within the company.
- Able to see clients in the office and/or via Telehealth.
REPORTS TO:
Reports to a Lead Clinical Supervisor, with escalation through the Outpatient Services Director and ultimately the Clinical Director.
SCHEDULE:
This is a flexible, per-diem schedule; sessions and visits are scheduled directly between the clinician and assigned clients within program needs. Full-time and part-time arrangements may also be available.
COMPENSATION & POSITION TYPE:
This is a per-diem/independent contractor position with the expectation of maintaining a minimum caseload of at least 15 clients; full-time and part-time arrangements may also be available. Compensation is a competitive, productivity-based rate paid per session/unit delivered.

Professional Licensure Compliance:
This position is regulated under Chapter 491, Florida Statutes, governing the practice of clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, and mental health counseling. This role may be structured as a per-diem/independent contractor (1099) engagement or as a full-time/part-time employee position, as specified at the time of offer.
