Behavioral Aid Solutions Connects with Families at South Miami Heights Elementary's Parent Fair

Behavioral Aid Solutions Inc. (BAS) joined South Miami Heights Elementary School for its Parent Fair, offering outreach and mental health resources to parents and students throughout the day. As a contracted mental health agency with Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) - one of only 14 agencies partnered with the District - BAS used the fair as an opportunity to connect directly with families, as well as school administrators and the campus mental health coordinator.
“Events like this have a real, positive impact on our community and our families,” said Max Baggini, Outreach Coordinator. “It's in line with our commitment to serve the needs of our students and uphold our responsibility to MDCPS.”
Throughout the fair, the BAS team shared information on the mental health services available to South Miami Heights families and answered questions from parents about how to access care for their children. The visit reinforced BAS's ongoing partnership with MDCPS, where it remains one of only 14 contracted mental health agencies trusted to serve students and families across the District.
